London

My first weekend in Oxford, a group of OSAP students decided to take a day-trip over to jolly ol’ London. We split up into smaller groups, and I spent the day with two girls named Becka and Ashley. First stop: the British Museum, home of the Rosetta Stone and a wicked sweet Egypt exhibit.

Among the many attractions were Big Ben, Parliament, Westminster Abbey, the Tower of London, London Bridge and Buckingham Palace.

Big Ben is definitely what made be gasp the most - it might not look it from this picture, but this clock tower is impressive. It's aligned in gold and sparkles down to the street onlookers.

The Tower Bridge.

Outside of Buckingham Palace - there were cute guards and a flag raised indicating that the Queen is at home.

London was very big-city but not like Chicago or New York. There were no jumbo-ads and skyscrapers. It’s so classic and historic. It's so England!
